Versions 2.5.7 and 2.5.8

We have uploaded new releases of Wakaru.
Version 2.5.7 solves a number of issues linked to Library

• Corrected a bug preventing the calculation of kanji level for imported ebooks
• Corrected a bug incorrectly disabling "Done" button in ebook information screen
• Corrected a bug incorrectly preventing auto-open ebook feature to work

and browser

• The dictionary panel now hides automitically when selection is cleared
• Corrected a bug preventing to toogle the dictionary between popover and panel presentation
• Corrected a bug preventing to show the contextual menu

For the dictionary, we have removed the limit of 4 external dictionaries. External dictionaries are shown in a scrollable panel in alphabetical order.

Finally, we have added an option to copy automatically selection to the clipboard. It works in ebook reader, browser and "quick text".

Version 2.5.8 improved text-to-speech capabilities:
We have added support to select alternative voices. Alternative voices have to be downloaded in Settings

• Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices > Japanese 

This screen below will allow to download new voices

Downloaded voices will appear in Wakaru:

• Settings > Text-to-Speech

In my testing, Otoya and Kyoko voices are available, but Siri voices are not made available in third party app .


We have also corrected some bugs

• Fixed bug of  of current spoken word not highlighted
• Fixed bug in custom readings
